Can anyone shed some light on FDE mags I have seen online?

1st SFOD (CAG) is using Glock 22's w/ MRDS mounted on them in some applications. The FDE mags were for them, but some leaked out. The only ones I've ever seen were Glock 22 mags with factory +2 extensions.

I've seen them once or twice for sale and they've sold for over $70 each. I've only seen .40 cal mags too. I think that's the only caliber they were made in. Specifically Glock 22 mags.

Where do you see them for sale? I know some guys who replace the baseplate with aftermarket FDE baseplates. Vortex, etc.

Hooked a guy up with a vender that had three of them, $40 ea, all he had and they were G-22 3rd gen mags with (+) baseplates, all factory FDE Glock OEM. Only three I have ever seen or handled.

I know you can dye P Mags, might be worth trying on a training mag..

But those are for 9mm/40 Glocks. they dont fit my big ass 21

what training mags are you talking about?

Training mag = an extra mag(s) used for training at the range, not one you use for duty/carry.

I have 4 extra mags for each pistol dedicated for training use only. This keeps my duty mags in better shape and keeps me from having to download them every time I train.

Have a reply from LAV on Facebook that the G21 mag plates should be out in a few months. I had asked the question whether they were going to make them.
