Joe Chambers came up with the WMG (Workin' Man's Gun) a little over a year ago and I was able to get on his list for one. The idea was to offer a simple, no frills, reliable, accurate 1911 at a great price for a custom build. Options could be added if desired. I chose to add the gold bead front sight and the Aztec cuts on the front strap and MSH.
It just so happens that this WMG was to be the test model for a barrel experiment. Three barrels were fit to this pistol with their own bushing and slide stop. Truly a work of art and my pleasure to own.
