I have a neighbor that I don't really like: he's the neighborhood busy-body who likes to call the cops if your sprinklers run over the time limit, gossips about everyone, etc. Very unpleasent person. Not as bad as Eurodriver's little old lady... :whistling:
However, he came over last night when my wife came home to chat, something we alaways try to avoid with him. However, this time he just wanted to offer us ROmney/RYan sign for our yard.
I may have to revise my opinion of him slightly upwards...
You have a sprinkler time limit?! And the cops would actually respond to such a call? :wow:

Check your jet ski for damage. It's a trap!
Congrats on the sign offer my friend:supergrin:

Water shortage restrictions: 20 mins, twice per week on certain days, only between 0600 - 1000 or 1600 - 2000
The cops know he's a PITA and only give warnings. When I met the officer the last time, he said "Anonymous complaint" I said, "Oh, not too anonymous" and pointed at the neighbor's house. Cop laughed and left.

Can it be? Has the brother of Eurodriver's neighbor been found?

In my experience, people who act like that are typically quite liberal. I know a lot of them. I can only think of one exception.

You should have turned on the sprinklers.

In my town this summer due to the drought, you were ticketed if you were watering on the wrong (odd or even) day. This, due to the law was a misdemeanor and now on your record. Local government has yet to figure that one out when someone goes to apply for a job.

He wants to have sex with you.
Couldn't resist since we're doing Eurodriver references.
You water your grass? Seriously? I have NEVER done that. It makes it grow and then you have to MOW it. A waste of time, water AND gasoline. It's the GREEN thing to (not) do. I've saved hours and gallons during the drought. I use the savings in my SUV.

Well, right now it's rainy season so mine has been shut off for a few months, so it's not an issue. What happens around here is all the sprinklers are on timers. If you get a power outage during the day, you won't know your timer's off unless you see it running at a weird time.
I hear his timer has been off too and some anonymous person was kind enough to point it out to the constabulary as well...
No, it wasn't me, but I LOL when I saw the police roll up to his house...
