Interesting article. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/10/09/romney-will-win-in-landslide-las-vegas-oddsmaker-doubles-down-on-prediction/

Great perspectives. Liberal trolls will bash it, but I'll not be responding. Article is an opinion, and I hope it it a solid prediction!

I too have come to believe the Romney will actually win. I think one factor, on election day, will be that many of the democrat faithful who claim to support Obama will just "forget" to vote for him. A democrat who didn't claim to support Obama would be called a racist by the others, but when it comes right down to it, I think they'll secretly back out. On the other hand, Romney has started to really impress many who might have stayed home.

It doesn't seem as unlikely that Romney will win as it did a few months ago, given the debate and Obama making it seem like he wants to lose 2012.

Regardless, I still have my money on Obama winning. I'd be shocked to see Romney pulling out a win, not that it'd matter either way.

Everyone who says what you're saying though, I tell them if they seriously think that, let's bet 100$ on it. No one has taken me up on my offer.

Unless Romney totally loses the last two debates, it's looking good for him.

I think the "likely" Democrat voter pool is going to get a dose of chlorine this time around. Some aren't going to be impressed by Obama getting "punked" in the first debate.

The fact is Democrats are no better off today, hard to rush to the polls to bring another four-years of it.

Let me introduce you to Wayne Root 101:
[From the OP article]

In November of 2004, only days before the presidential election, I went on CNBC and predicted a Bush victory by 3 points and 30 electoral votes. Every poll at the time showed Kerry in the lead. Bush won by 3 and 35. Newsmax magazine called it the most accurate prediction of 2004.

In October of 2006, I went on Fox News to predict the GOP would get slaughtered in the midterm election and lose Congress. They did.

In December 2011, before the GOP primary, I predicted Mitt Romney would win the GOP presidential nomination and go on to win the presidency.Hmmm. Where's 2008? 2010? I suppose we're to believe he didn't make any predictions those years...

Wait a second, that December 2011 prediction hasn't come true yet either.

So we have two correct predictions (1 obvious), two "missing in action" predictions, and one "yet to be determined". He's 2 for 4. Same as a coin flip.

But he sure made it sound good, didn't he?

Now visit his site, winningedge dot com, and pay him for more of those spectacular predictions. You can get rich!

I'll take the bet. Loser has to donate it to the winner's charity of choice. My bet is Romney wins. I won't predict a landslide yet, but I will make the wager on a Romney Electoral College win..

Great. Are you in the Houston area? This bet won't be toward someone's campaign, since campaigns I donate to are few and far between, and if I really feel they're going to win.

I will gladly lay down 100$ cash if you are in the Houston area. I'll expect my payment November 8th pronto.

No, but I have family there in the NW Houston area. If you want to wait till Thanksgiving to handle it in person, that fine by me. I will gladly give to a charity of your choice and send you proof if you are correct on November 8th as long as you are willing to do the same. If I were in your area, I would have made the bet and exchanged it face to face.

If you can meet face to face, Houston area, cash is fine. Otherwise, a donation won't help me one bit. I'm in it for me, just like how everyone is voting for Obama or Romney this election. They're in it for themselves.

ETA - Send me a PM if you're serious, face to face cash only.

Romney will take your bet, but you will have to pony up at least $10,000. Let's do a BTT on this post on Nov 6th. at 10pm Eastern time, that's about when FOX will call the election for Romney. In 2008 at the VP Debate I seem to recollect Sarah going up one side of Biden and down the other. Get back to us in Five hours after Ryan cleans Biden's clock. Give us your prediction then.

I will be honest, I can't wait to see the debate tonight with Ryan vs Biden. This should be rather entertaining.

He makes good points, but I simply disagree. I'm not seeing a landslide. I think it will be close with a Romney victory, and I fully expect the results to be strongly contested.

They have to expect to catch some heat for it.

All three sides in this election on GTPI resorted to insults, some much more than others.

But you may find some day, that getting what you wanted wasn't really winning. Don't get too winded taking that victory lap.

Maybe I'll bookmark this thread and bring it back to life in 4 more years to see how you and your family are doing. I've been preparing for another 4 years of Barry for quite a while. Hope you have planned to significantly lower your standard of living, and aren't caught off guard.

I didn't get what I wanted. I didn't vote for Obama.

But I'm not a doom and gloom type.

As for how my family is doing? I would say great to outstanding. And it will be the same way in 4 years. Planning, investing and work ethic count for more than anything else.

There will always be business cycles and they will continue. That doesn't mean the end of the republic is coming. The conspiracy theorists have been predicting it since the economy downturn at the end of the Bush presidency, the beginning of the Obama presidency and still today. It hasn't happened and I don't think it will.

Too funny!

Romney by a landslide!

Gee, somehow I missed this thread.

Romney got 61.7% of the ET and Romney got 38.3%.

Yep, that's a landslide, but not for Romney.

You obviously fired your proof reader again. Wait, did you suddenly stop your anti-psychotic meds? That's not good for you and could explain some of your rants. Please have your mom take you back to the Dr. before you shoot up a Walmart...

Nope. Just making fun at the people that were foolish enough to actually think that Romney would win, especially by a landslide.

These are the people that should be on meds since they are out of touch with reality and the "Real World".

This is the result of being a +40yo SWM that lives with his Mom and has a "Command Post" in the basement and works a part-time minimum wage teenager-type job.

Shoot up a WalMart? Why on Earth would I shoot up a WalMart?

I'm one of the few sane, normal, well-adjusted people in the PI section that wasn't so far out of touch with reality that I knew that Romney would NOT win, especially by a LANDSLIDE.

The people that WERE so far out of touch with reality that they actually thought that Romney WOULD win, ESPECIALLY by a landslide are the ones that you need to be concerned with when it comes to being off their meds and shooting up a WalMart.

I hope these people get the help that they desperately need.

Because historically, leftists are more prone to violence, especially when their victims are merely innocent bystanders.
