So Romney's going to solve women's employment problems by granting them all government jobs? Ladies - Send him your binders.

I hear polled women worried that somehow their rights will be taken away under a Romney Administration.

Then, when Romney tries to highlight his experience with equal employment for women during the course of a debate, you get these juvenile responses.

Democrats. You can't blame them when they have only a failed policy to defend.

Wasn't much different during the Bush Administration. I guess we're due for 8 more years of Liberal "reasoning".

Women paid significantly less in Obama White House than their male counterparts

I really wish people would stop defending Rmoney. We have to elect him - I get it. Doesn't mean we can't be honest about what a slimy little weasel he is.

There's a Facebook page also. I honestly don't understand this fascination with his binders comment. Before 2008, political candidates and appointees in both parties would actually be researched and vetted. Do you guys remember this concept?

Really, if this is a crucial issue on which the left is pinning its hopes -- their ammo can has truly run dry.

Well, according to ABC news, a focus group of undecided Milwaukee "Walmart Moms" said the President won the debate.

So, we all need to go home and forget the election.

But it is beyond dispute that Romney will say anything to get elected. He may be a sharp businessman, but he has no integrity.

Look at Romney's record of putting women in his cabinet when he was Governor.

Leftists just can't stand it when that nasty 'ole reality deflates their propaganda balloon.

If you look at his Governorship and the number of women he hired he was correct.

Thanks for pointing out that ROMNEY WAS TELLING THE TRUTH

So Romney accepted resumes in binders from women for job openings.:dunno:

Thanks to Obama, companies are holding 89 million resumes in binders from the unemployed out-of-the-workforce men and women.

This is a joke, more commonly referred to as an "internet meme". Obama, or the democrats have nothing to do with this.

I was watching the debate when Romney said it, I remember laughing and thinking what a horrible choice of words it was.

Apparently so did a lot of other people..

Thanks, Flint. This thread needed the benefit of the perspective of a woman (or at least a transgender).

My fave chuckle during last night's "debate" was Hussein shrinking away from Romney, and trying to change the subject, when Romney kept trying to get him to answer a question about the number of drilling permits Hussein had actually okayed.

You can tell Romney has raised a houseful of teen-aged boys who are used to BSing their way past their mommy. "O" sat snivelling and stammering on his stool.

Candy neglected to come to Hussein's rescue that time.

They say 80% of human communication is non-verbal. I got the biggest kick out of Hussein cringing and snivelling when Romney faced him, trying to get him to give a direct answer to a direct question.

"O" reminded me of the lawyer hiding in the crapper in that first Jurassic Park movie, right before the T-Rex put the chomp on his sleazy ***.

No, no. no He would vote for Romney if Romney wasn't ...well...Romney. If romney was someone else he would vote for Romney because then Romney wouldn't be in the race and his vote wouldn't count for diddle ant that is what is the important goal.

It's part of the "Definition of "Is" paradigm"

I sort of got, "I'm going to tell everyone on PI that I want to vote for Romney but can't, making them think -- heh, heh, heh -- their candidate is inadequate, but I, the brilliant leftist, of course never had a doubt that I am voting for the great 0, the One who will cause the oceans to recede and cloud men's minds and put a unicorn hindquarter in every pot and plant a marshmallow tree in every yard -- or actually, in every communal plot."

O'Reilly correctly deduced that when Obama is getting his ass kicked from here to Andromeda and back, the Left is going to grasp for ANY issue with which to try and attack Romney.

But "binder"??? I think they'd be better off kicking the tires on his Mormonism yet again (and I regard that as a non-starter...).

Comically, Romney even lied about this issue. The woman responsible for compiling this list of women said that she approached both candidates in 2002 before the election was even over.
