Has any forum member actually compared the 2 calibers in a side by side test? What did you find?

Id stick with 10mm as performance is similar and 400 isnt sold anywhere.

If you want something different from 10mm, 45 super or 9x25 dillion are the only ways to go.

Id agree.. furthermore, the 400 requires you to additionally GIVE UP capacity due to the wider case..

10mm.. better power... better capacity... better pizza.. papa johns..

I cannot believe you said that out loud!

News tonight:

Two coastal cruise line ships, sink off the coast of Uruguay, for no apparent reason.......

but we'll know why :whistling:

The battleships were 8 miles apart, and someone (i.e., SCTiger) :whistling: simply landed a 10mm between them. Two of the survivors said it was like a hole opened up in the ocean and swallowed the two ships.

Those giant sinkholes and water main breaks you see in the news....

Sometimes a 10mm will hit a thin spot in the berm.

Sorry 'bout that.:whistling:

Back in the late 90s when I was in lawschool in Austin, I knew of a doc in Dallas who bought a 400 corbon after operating on someone who had been shot with the round. Guess he was impressed.

Totally, completely, and wholly unfair comparison! :steamed:

After a 10mm hit there are no operations or trauma surgery, there is only "clean up." :whistling: :tongueout:

To the OP.

Is you math really that poor.

400 is 40 times better than 10.

Look at the numbers.

A friend of mine (also a GT member) attended a post mortem exam in which a 10mm round was used to shoot the decedent. In his words, the 10mm turned the guy's insides to "mush."

As was mentioned, the 10mm ballistics are slightly better than the .400 Corbon, and you get more rounds in the gun. Though I must say I wouldn't want to be shot by either.

Neck it down to .27, so it can shoot the carrier on the far side of the battleship?

At 5000 fps, anything is armor piercing.

With a KKM conversion barrel you can convert a 45 ACP Glock to 10 mm. The only better thing about the 400 Corbon, and the purpose of it, is it can be loaded using 45 ACP cases, which are usually cheaper and more available than 10 mm cases. If you go 400 Corbon in a Glock get single stack Glock 21 magazines for use in either the Glock 21 or the Glock 30. They work much better with 400 Corbon than the double stack magazines. The overall cartridge length is usually critical for proper feeding of 400 Corbon.

Oh yeah, Corbon doesn't recommend using bullets heavier than 165 (or 170 grains). They publish one (I think one "experimental" load) fairly mild load for a 180 grain bullet. The loads for the lighter weight bullets get pretty hot.

This is correct, it's mathematics. Trust me, I studied math and got an A in third grade.

OP, you're stupidly dumb for asking such a stupid question. Use math. Dummy.
