Years of Obamanomics are now being felt on the streets of America. Cuts to police forces and extremely high unemployment are certainly key reasons for the increase in crime. Four more years of the same economic failure is not the way to make American streets safer. America needs a change. A change from Obamanomics and back to sane economic policy.

It was the first year-to-year increase for violent crime since 1993, marking the end of a long string of declines. Violent crime fell by 65 percent since 1993, from 16.8 million to 5.8 million last year.

Liberal government at it's finest!

Obama keeping his promise to fundamentally change America is all.

Four more years of this administration and it'll be Saturday night in Chicago all across the formerly great USA.

Happyguy :)

So BO cut funding to local PDs?

BO's economic policies are destroying the tax base that funds the PD's. Duh!

Let's see -- implement economic policies that create an environment which fosters violent crime, and then call for an assault weapon ban and tighter handgun controls because there's more violent crime...

Anyone else see something downright Swift-like in this madness? http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/artists/just_cuz/JC_thinking.gif

I think that is fast becoming the case and the administration has put up a furious effort to bring it to bear.

On the bright side it's still down 65 percent from 1993. That's pretty amazing.

Could some of the increase be the racially motivated attacks by urban youths and mobs?Ya think?

Yes. But the Gun Sales statistics worth a look. Simply awesome for firearms, ammo, reloading supply companies, gun clubs, and more...

BHO has been good and magical to firearms economy as TigerWood had been to golf economy!
