Bought a brand new ATI Commander ( 4.25 ) couple of months ago and left it with my gunsmith.
This is the parts list:
Action job 1911 ( 70 series)
Refinish Cerakote matte black
Throat for hollow points
Wolff variable recoil spring 16lbs
Wilson Combat
- Slide stop
- Extended thumb safety
Ed Brown
- Hardcore hammer
- Sear
- Disconnector
- Nowlin commander guide rod
Why do all that to a cheap 1911?
Because i can :tongueout:
Very nice
Congrats!

Who did you have do the work? I have a new Colt Commander that needs some personalizing.

How does she shoot compared to before?

How does she shoot compared to before?
Only shot 50 fmj rounds before taking it to gunsmith, it wouldn't Federal HST ammo at all. Accuracy was good , about 5 inch group, off hand from 25 yards. I could tell it needed a stronger recoil spring than factory.
Now it feeds everything, recoil is nice and smooth, average group was 3 inch. I did have 4-5 fliers but I contribute that to operator error.
