Just picked up a new gen 4 26.Wanted to ask a few questions. The shell in the box had a date of 4/26/12.It has the 30274 ejector and a 0 1 8 recoil spring are these considered up to date.it has the dipped extractor.

The 30274 ejector is the latest ejector. The RSA on the G26 G4 was never updated. So yes, you are up to date.

Brang the new glock 26 gen4 to the range today.I fired 50rds of winchester 124gr nato,100rds of remington 115gr umc and 50rds of speer 124gr +p.With the nato I had 1 rd hit the brim of my cap and 1rd straight back to my chest.with the remington everything ejected to the right.I had 1rd land on my brim with the speer.Overall I was happy with how the pistol performed I like the grip on the gen4 better than the gen 3 26.(which I'm sorry I sold thinking I was gonna retire)I can't qualify with this til next year but I'm gonna try to put as many rounds through it before then.

I'm an armorer and a competitive shooter and never check or worry about those things. I get a new Glock, I take it out and shoot it. I only have 2 Gen4s but when they worked, end of story - and I have never had a Glock not function perfectly out of the box. Still can't tell you the ejector or RSA number in any of my Glocks.
