Eh, it is a pretty static debate so far. Rather centrist, rather mild and mostly the exact same talking points from the other debates.

Which is fine for Romney...at this point, his whole goal is to "not foul up!" a panzy debate fills that role.

The only thing I hate more than color coded neckties is the next 72 hours of blowhards spinning their guy's lies and claiming the other guy lied about everything...and if he did tell the truth it's because he "flip flopped".

Around my office, uttering the words "flip flopped" might get you punched in the mouth.

Stop complaining about the other guy and tell me how you will lead.

Agreed.

Debate #1 = Romney Massacre
Debate #2 = Both sides played to their base, and both did well at it

Debate #3 = Romney just needs to look Presidential and not step on his own tongue. Polls are trending his way...don't risk upsetting that by taking chances.

If the night continues this way, Romney won the war but Obama won this battle.

In a close race (so they say) that is dangerous.

That doesnt matter. You are looking at the content, and again, through your biased ear. You obviously dont know how this game is played.

It is a fight. Fighting dirty is fine. The only person who cares is when you think your guy is suffering because of it.

Obama has a block and punch so far for most everything Romney has thrown.

You have to stop looking at these things like a team sport, where you want to protect your team from the wrongs of the other team. You have to watch the even as it unfolds, without an ear for who(you think) is cheating.

Here is the proof. When this thing is over, if it keeps up like this, you will be forced to face the fact (no matter how right you think you are, or even, in fact are) the throngs of people who score this one close or for the President.

Not to negate Mitt as he is doing fine as well but Obama has redeemed himself over the last 2 debates from that debacle of the first one. This election is so close I am not sure this debate will matter. If folks are still undecided at this point they might never decide who to vote for.
