Man, my wife had a pan full of M&C when I got home last night that would JUST. NOT. WAIT.
I hope there's still some left over for supper. But I think my son may have found it.

Yum I love good mac and cheese...the sharper the cheese the better. I threw a bacon cheddar mac and cheese on the smoker last time had it fired up.....simply delicious.

Always toss in a pack of bacon bits ( real bacon ) into the mac and cheese. It really elevates comfort food to a higher level.

Yes, sometimes my wife makes M&C in a cast iron skillet and then cooks it on the grill. When she does that I look for dents in her car...

Mmmm. I make a multiple cheese sauce and top it with panko mixed with duck fat or truffle oil, and crisp up the top in the oven.

I like adding jalapenos to mine, and sometimes mushrooms.
I like my M&C with Chardonnay.

Add a little katsup/ketchup;. tom. :)
M&C is an Eastern food. Being from West Texas, I never had M&C until I was about 57 years old. But, if it is well-prepared, i.e., not from a can or a box, I don't mind eating it.

Try smoking it, with peppers and bacon and really good cheeses. Total panty dropper.
Mac and cheese with Mexican chorizo sausage is awesome.
