Hey folks - just got it back from X-Werks here in Phoenix. My very first Glock purchased back in the early 90's but showed a little wear from being my EDC years ago. Opted for OD green with a burnt bronze slide. I'm very pleased with the quality and feel this coating has. Cerakoted throughout the pistol.

Kinda hard to capture the color indoors but hopefully you folks get the gist.

Thanks fellahs! I gotta warn you - cerakoting can be addictive. Pondering a color scheme for my shotty....

Man, that's nice! That's very slick.

I'd like to get my G23 slide ceracoated. It's a Gen 3 with the newer flat, dull, charcoal grey like coating (sort of like being parkerized). I'm not too fond of it. I like the coating on my Gen 3 G27 with the semi-gloss black Glock used to have. I wish I knew where I could get it done.

Did a quick search from NIC Industries that are certified:

Hope that helps,

I had an 870 done a while back. OD green & graphite black.
I have a Gen 4 model 19 headed my way with a burnt bronze slide.

Looks great!! What kind of money would I be looking at for the slide on a G19?

Sweet! I'm contemplating the same colorway as your 870 but after seeing a Hogan AR that was anodized green I fell in love.

May want to double check his site or one in your area but the last I checked - locally was $50 if it wasn't stripped. Meaning it had sights, firing pin etc...

I like it.

Thanks Glock Dood! ;)

As of a couple weeks ago it was $50 for just the receiver or just the slide. $100 for both on pistols. At least for my Glock. Factor in shipping and ffl out of state.

^^ Noted and thanks.

If anyone knows of a shop or gunsmith in the Tampa Bay or Orlando region in FL who does a good job with Cerakote or Duracoat, let me know here or by PM. Thanks.

I found this gunsmith out in Las Vegas who does Duracoat:

http://www.goldenloki.com/gunsmith/duracoat/Duracoat.htm

$40 + cost of shipping insurance (return shipping free), for a Glock slide. Not bad at all.

I also located a man at a local gun shop nearby who does Duracoat, with a good reputation.

Anyone have a comparison of Cerakote and Duracoat?
