Anyone have one of those rods sticking out of their powder hopper?
It looks like some sort of baffle or plate attached to it pressing on the powder. Is this something new?

Isn't it their low powder sensor?

I don't know it didn't come with any of my Dillon presses.

It's the low powder sensor. I have two that came standard in my head. They sit right in front of the powder hopper when I'm reloading...and don't need batteries.

One of the few Dillon goodies that I think is useless.

When I had a 550 I used to think that a low primer alarm was stupid. Now that I have the 650 I like it.

I have one and think it's handy when reloading larger rifle cases.

Since you should not let the powder drop below half ways in the powder hopper. if I was loading enough of large caliber rifle rounds. I would invest in one of these instead of the low powder sensor.

So true, you can see the fricking powder right in front of your nose! Primer warning I get, can't see hop many you have left, but not that.
