Shot in the chest, stays on the bad guys, shoots one of them. Nice work. Way to stay in the fight.

I hope he recovers quickly and fully.

The officer had a bullet lodged in his chest, the police said. The round had grazed his left arm, entered the left side of his chest, narrowly missing his heart, exited and re-entered his right side, where it ricocheted, fractured one of his ribs and lodged in the right side of his chest, the police said.

It's amazing that he stayed lucid and on point with an injury like that! Holy Awesome!

No joke considering he popped one in the head and killed the guy. Good shooting also

As Grossman would say....This guy is a true warrior to the core.

Glad to see that he is in good shape and stopped one of the BG's from sucking any more oxygen.

Officers need to read this when they kvetch and whine at the range about single handed shooting.

“Holding his left hand over his wound, with his gun in his right hand, Officer Marcano moved to the middle of the street, took cover behind a livery cab, yelled to passers-by to get down and fired,” Mr. Kelly said. “He moved a second time, still holding his hand over his wound, to the west side of Harrison Avenue, where he took cover behind a parked car and fired another round at the suspects.”
