This may be good news for Romney, it says its going to hit mostly around New York City and New Jersey. For some reason I think a lot of Obama voters are around those areas. :whistling:

Be safe fellow GlockTalkers in those areas I know theres quite a few of you.

Weird weather is actually the norm around here. Last Halloween we got a couple feet of snow, then temps averaging in the 40's through most of the winter. I've seen a 70 degree day in January, which caused me to dig my motorcycle out of a snowbank and go for a ride. We've had a day with snow and a day in the 70's within a few days of each other. We also get storms that have covered everything in a couple inches of ice. What's on its way seems like just par for the course.

Looks like I'll be getting hit no matter where it goes. We had Irene and now Sandy. Shaping up to be a great time.

Be careful all you voters...Every one counts.

In MN we have our late "January thaw" and some rain, on top of the snow and ice. after a couple of days of flash warming, Winter's back. Nasty to drive.

What do you bet that they would extend the voting an extra week or so?

Yeah, I'm spending part of tomorrow putting the lawn chairs away and lashing down the light stuff. We get these every few years. The last big one was about three years ago.

It was 82 and sunny just a couple days ago. :dunno:

Sounds UGLY, being where I am I know the feeling. Good luck all, I hope it is not as bad as they predict.

It will be interesting to see it's possible effect on the election.

It is a storm with a big wind field and moving slowly down here at least.

Election day is the first Tuesday in November. Sandy is expected to hit the NorthEast this coming Monday/Tuesday. That leaves about a week for getting things back to normal.

I thought the linked story said it might linger for 4-5 days after hitting. Regardless it will get blamed by somebody however the election turns out.

UPdated models show it plowing into NJ. They have just barely recoverd from the last one that hit there.

Good. I hope these blue-state Obama voters get pounded.
