View Full Version : Ruger Mark III std ss
I am extremely picky when it comes to 22s, but found a Mark III that I like... do they not make the std in ss anymore? I actually like the tapered barrel. I found this one on GB but seems expensive! http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=313137235

Nice choice, there is not a better SA .22 pistol on this earth.

Nah, you're not blind. Sometimes the doggone distributors get to have all the fun. Darn fine choice! I've had a blued standard for quite a while & it's a great shooter. Enjoy yours!! :wavey:
something about the tapered barrel looks kind of cool, reminds me of a german luger... lol
I love the Mark series rimfires.
everybody is sold out of this model, so sad :crying:

I just found one of these locally, blued(or black what ever you want to call it), one month old, guy said he put about 50 rounds through it. He even did the mag safety mod/MKII hammer conversion. It's also the only standard style MKIII I"ve seen that's drilled and tapped from the factory. Picked it up in the box with 2 mags and all paper work for $240, did I get a good deal. O it's the 4 3/4'' version.
