After inheriting 8 years of Republican administration and coming in t the peak of the worst recession in modern history, Obama had doomed us in 4 years.

1) He kept us out of a second American Depression.
2) He helped keep the auto industry from collapsing.
3) The economy is ticking upward.
4) Unemployment is ticking downward.
5) We are out of Iran.
6) We are getting out of Afghanistan.
7) Osama Bin laden is dead.
8) Fewer illegals cross or remain in America than in prior years.
9) Consumer spending is up.
10) If Romney wins, Republicans will take all the credit!

1) He kept us out of a second American Depression.
Wasn't going to happen

2) He helped keep the auto industry from collapsing.
Bankruptcy would have done the same and positioned it better for the better.

3) The economy is ticking upward.
Stagnant

4) Unemployment is ticking downward.
Because fewer people are filing.

5) We are out of Iran.
Following Bush's plan.

6) We are getting out of Afghanistan.
Following Bush's plan.

7) Osama Bin laden is dead.
Clinton should have done it.

8) Fewer illegals cross or remain in America than in prior years.
Less economic activity in USA - will return when better.

9) Consumer spending is up.
Somewhat.

10) If Romney wins, Republicans will take all the credit!
Who wouldn't?

1. Pure speculation. Reagan's recover from an equally bad economy was much, much better.
2. The auto industry should have been allowed to go through the normal bankruptcy process and shed the ridiculous union contracts. Instead Obama rewarded his union buddes at the expense of the bondholders.
3. Huh? The economy has declined the last few years.
4. There are fewer people working than when Obama took office, he has added millions more to the public dole rather than create jobs. If you include the people who have given up looking for work unemployment would be over 11%.
5. We were never in Iran.
6. Afghanistan is a lost cause, no matter who is president.
7. Any president would have made that call.
8. Because the economy is so bad. That's one good thing Barry has done.

After inheriting 8 years of Republican administration and coming in t the peak of the worst recession in modern history, Obama had doomed us in 4 years.

1) He kept us out of a second American Depression.

Things are not any better than the day he took office and our national debt has doubled,

2) He helped keep the auto industry from collapsing.

He bought union votes with our money. The unions had a lot to do with the unprofitablility of auto producrion. He delayed the inevitable for a voting bloc.

3) The economy is ticking upward.

Like bragging that the rain is making the mud puddle deeper. factor out inflation and the picture isn't so rosy. Gross sales numbers are barely up but inflation accounts for much of it

4) Unemployment is ticking downward.

More people have dropped off the statitic list. After 3 1/2 years the current rate would mean we could possibly see a 1% drop after 8 years, big deal. another 4 years and the suicide rate may have more effect.

5) We are out of Iran.
?????????

6) We are getting out of Afghanistan.

Following the Bush model and giving Bush no credit

7) Osama Bin laden is dead.

Completing the program Bush started and giving Bush no credit

8) Fewer illegals cross or remain in America than in prior years.

Our economy is no longer that far ahead of Mexico's, yup, brag about that alright.

9) Consumer spending is up.

It's Christmas season and more big box stores have gone back to lay-away programs, and the durable goods people bought four years ago need replacing

10) If Romney wins, Republicans will take all the credit!

What's to take credit for, Obama taking two strokes off his handicap?

More than one gun, but not certain of the relevance of that question.

A lot of should have, could have and RU propaganda in ur reply.

Reagan, Reagan, Reagan, what a tired broken record.

Yea, union buddies benefited more than CEOs.

Yes, it has declined, but it takes time, more than a couple of years to recover, and we are now seeing the first real signs of recovery.

People not seeking work is always in the mix, but neither side counts them they are quoting unemployment rate. You can get if Rep in power they would not include that number, and lambast any that did.

Lost to Russia as well, but Obama did not put us there! It was always going to be an impossible victory, look at its history.

To say any president would have could is irrelevant. It's who's in office that gets the credit.

Still, it's growing.

Wait and see, he will.

I understand all these negative feelings for BO. I used to have them myself for a man named Michael Jordan. I don’t know how many basketball fans we have in the house, but the anaology works on any sports/sports star that you love to hate.

I couldn’t stand MJ & the Bulls for no other reason than he used to spank by teams’ behind every game/playoff.

If you brag about his PPGs – I’d talk about his low assists. If you point out his FT% – I’d talk about his turnovers or fouls. Where you see amazing ball-handling skills – I’d see moving violations. I eventually had to succumb to reality and give MJ his props.

That’s what BO is doing; a MJ on the rest of the political league. The OPs points 1-10 are spot on and the other fans of the game can’t take it. They’d rather deny BO his induction to the Hall of Fame by trashing his record and belittling his accomplishments. “Anybody could have done it.” Well, I said the same thing about MJ in game 7.

1) He prolonged a massive recession unnecessarily.
2) GM is on life support, selling 80k Volts for less than 40k,
and the stock we purchased in the 50's is now in the 20's losing 60% of our investment.
3) The economy is hopelessly stalled.
4) Unemployment is stalled with between 350k and 400k new job claims every week. Real unemployment is close to 16%.
5) We were never in Iran.
6) We are getting out of Afghanistan eventually after notifying our enemies when so they can wait us out while our men are needlessly dying.
7) Ayman al Zawahiri is still alive and al qaeda fragmented.
8) Fewer illegals cross or remain in America than in prior years because our economy is in the sh#$%er.
9) Consumer spending is stalled with economic growth at 1.3% net of government squander.
10) If Romney wins, Republicans will fix things.

Meanwhile back in Benghazi,
It appears now that slacker inn chief knew from the first hour that we were under attack, did nothing, forbade others to save our people then went to Vegas for campaigning while he instructed his underlings for two straight weeks to lie and say everything was the fault of some internet movie no one ever heard of so he could pass the buck while trying to make voters think he has vanquished terrorism when it now appears he only encouraged it.

What has Barry accomplished on his own? Without Harry and Nancy I'd say not much as he's got nothing done without them. He's the David Spade of politics, sure he can seem good but without someone more talented pulling him along he's got nothing.

He's a political bench warmer as he has no political ability beyond looking pretty and giving nice speeches from time to time. He can't lead his party, and he certainly isn't leading this country.
