Today was like Christmas morning!

Actually, it was even better (wife isn't too good w/ presents), as I got a surprise I wasn't expecting.

I traded off a LNIB S&W M&P 9mm w/ 4 mags for what was advertised as a Colt M4 upper w/ KAC RAS w/ panels, Phantom, and removable carry handle.

The M4 upper is unfired (had no clue)! I got a full RAS panel kit with the various panels in the roll-up storage bag.

My TRUE surprise -- a GG&G MAD BUIS. It appears unused, and those cost ~$150! That sight was never part of the deal, as far as I knew.

This was one HELLUVA deal. I held off on trades and low-ball cash offers for nearly 1.5 months. I've had two guys back out on me after me accepting trade offers. Then...I had this fella. He was outstanding and I'm still shocked. Oh -- and he sent me $40 to help out on the shipping charges from shipping my pistol.

Anyway, I'm psyched!!! I just gotta get a new stock, as the one on the rifle is an OLD SCHOOL telestock. But...that can wait.

Here's a link to the BUIS -- ( . Seems nice. I've always used A.R.M.S. #40's before.

I am very thankful for a kind member over on ARF.

I had a few lowers lying around, so I popped it on this one:

That looks to be a 14.5" barrel with a pinned phantom FH.

Thanks, y'all.

If I had standard handguards, then I'd rock the "old school" stock. Call me quirky like that. :)

Not too sure what I really want as far as the stock goes, though...???
