I'm getting a bit older but far from over the hill but could use some sight assist on target acquisition. Already wearing glasses for decades and front sight post is getting hard to focus on.
So I cannot spend over $300 on C More STS sights. So I'm considering the TruGlo Tritium/Fiber Optic front/rear sights. Cost uninstalled is about $100.
I don't have or cannot borrow a sight pusher or front post tool to do the job properly myself.
Q1. How much should I expect to pay at a full service gun smith to install and realign at 25 yrds?
Q2. Is this a bad type of sight choice?
Q3. Should I try to get discount on install from buying the sights from the local shop that would install them for me?
Thank for your help as I have not had to bargain with a gun smith before.
