Are 3rd Gen & Gen 4 trigger assemblies interchangeable?
I have a smooth face G17 I want to put in a Gen 4 G19.
Thanks,......a bit behind on the Gen 4 models
It should work, but be sure to check the engagement.:wavey:

Thanks Danny,.......just looked at a few parts houses.
Seems they all list the Gen 4 trigger assemblies as a different number.
Will just order one.........have a great day.

Only the ejector will interchage, every thing else is different
on the trigger group.

I have Gen3 trigger bars in all of my Gen4 pistols. I find it provides a smoother, less gritty trigger pull. Function and engagement have been perfect.

Do you know if the trigger itself can be swapped?
I only knew for sure about the ejector from what
I've read so far on the forum.
The trigger cannot be swapped.
The trigger w/trigger bar can be swapped.
Trigger housing is different.

on the trigger group.
Incorrect, Danny had correct answer.

That's why I asked about the trigger, I only
was sure about the ejector in my post before Danny's

Yes, I'm glad this came up.
I want to get the updated g4 ejector for my g3. Now I'll order a trigger group with a smooth trigger and get a 2 for one
