I recently picked up my first billet lower for my SBR. A local tool shop recently started making AR's and while I was there to initially get my forged lower engraved, I wound up buying one of thier billet lowers and got a complementary engraving. The owner was really nice and gave me a tour around the shop, showed me some of the custom AR's people have ordered, and even took me out to lunch while my lower was being engraved. (It takes a really long time BTW.) It was super easy to install the LPK and every upper I had fit unlike some of the forged lowers I have owned over the years. So far I am impressed with the lower and with the company.

Thanks.

I'm not sure. I can't decide between a 9" 300BLK, 11.5" 5.56 or another 7.62x39.

Build yourself a 8" BLK. You'll like it. Loads of fun for a stamp collector.

Do theyt have billets in stock, or did you have to pre order? That might be worth the drive. As highly as you speak of them, I wouldn't mind taking a drive up and picking up a couple or few for myself and friends.

Mind if I ask how much they cost?

They are $199. I paid $218 with sales tax and background check. They make them in house and all 4 colors were in stock.

Thanks. I think I'll order and pay for a couple over the phone, then drive up and get them. I live west of Brownsville, and it will be worth the drive to give them some business.

I will probably order a few of their BCG's. They are Young MFG M16 carriers with the logo engraved for only $155.

Looks pretty good, I like the trigger guard but not a fan of the magwell grip grooves.

Looks good...I like the magwell grooves and the enhanced trigger guard. Looks like they did it the right way.

From what I've seen the magwell grooves are the billet calling card. I like the seekins billets but nit enough to pay double what a more durable forged costs.

It's a little loud, but is light and fun as hell.
