I have posted before about my Gen4 G23 which has gone through 1,000 rounds without any brass-to face issue.

I took my friend shooting today and was standing about 3 feet behind her and 2 feet to her right. She fired and POW, I took a casing to the face.

Glock needs to do something about this problem.

The incident you describe isn't really a true BTF problem. When the brass comes out 'a the ejection port and straight back into the shooter's face, THAT is a BTF problem!

My own BTF problems didn't start until after I'd fired a good 3,000 rounds through a 3rd gen. G-19 - Very annoying! (Or worse if you happen to be defending yourself when this happens, and end up taking one in the eye.)

So far I've been hit once in the eye, and twice on my face. Fortunately I was wearing safety glasses when these events occurred; BUT, on the street, of course, I wouldn't have had the glasses on. :freak:

You're taking a big risk of starting another contentious thread on the BTF thing because some people will not get your joke.

 Well, it's a good gag; except it's not nearly so amusing when your Glock is one of the ones that's throwing brass into your face. Then, it ain't so funny. Like I said, I got all the way to 3,000 + rounds before I caught it in the eye with my first ejected case.

I knew about the BTF problems early on, of course; and I, also, knew better than to amuse myself at other Glock owners’ expense because they were having problems; and I wasn’t. Right now I'm, sure as heck, not laughing either.

So far I've spent well over $250.00 dollars trying to solve this annoying problem with my 3rd generation G-19; and, it looks like I'm going to have to give Randy Lee @ Apex another $60.00 or $70.00 bucks and, then, hope for the best BEFORE all of this is, hopefully, through.

So you're just going to have to excuse me if the OP's humor escaped me on this one, and went straight over my head - just like my ejecting brass! Originally, I thought $647.00 dollars was enough to pay for any 9mm Glock. Looks like I was wrong, though, huh! Good thing I only paid for my LESS THAN PERFECT Glock Model 19 in increasingly worthless American dollars. Ha, ha, ha!)

Now THAT is funny! :tongueout:

Most people don't stand in the spot where all auto pistols eject their brass.

Ha!

Better yet, post a picture of the girlfriend! She might have been limp wristing. We must have pictures to properly analyze her stance.

I have 2 Gen4 G26s. One of them started sending BTF after 300 rounds. The other one ran great until it reached around 900 rounds.

None of my other 8 pre-2009 Gen3 Glocks have this issue.

Man, don't tell me that. I have a Gen4 G26 with about 400 perfect rounds through it, I love that gun. I'd sure hate it if it started throwing brass in my face.

The good news is the fact both have been 100% reliable.
I believe Glock will get to the bottom of this in time. The issue seems to be hit and miss. I thought one on them escaped the issue but I started having random rounds hit my safety glasses once I got close to the 1000 round mark.

I don't think you'd get a very good view of the gun's butt in that position. :tongueout:

I know. People ignored by post above too that it was satire. I guess situational awareness is low on this forum.

Of course to people that don't have this problem think the whole BTF thing is silly.

So anyone who thinks it's BS because they don't have the problem can gladly trade me Glocks anytime. That should prove your point sufficiently.

I got 2 BTF's in one mag yesterday. Yet I put the same ammo through my PM9 and I have to go hunt down the brass it's thrown so far.

Or you could troll forums instead.....

I know this was a joke post about BTF. However for us Glock owners that are having to put up with it isn't that big of joke. I got a late G26 Gen3 and really liked it. Ejected fine till about 200 rounds in. Now its just spitting the brass up about 8 inches and dribbles off to the right or straight up. I'm using Gold Dot +p 124 short barrel. Other ammo does the same or worse. I've kept it very clean also. Now I'm going to have to decide to take it out of my defensive pistol lineup, sell it, or start replacing parts to get it work the way it should. I watched a vid of Hickok45 and his glock was tossing out brass like 5 feet! Wonder if he changes his ejector/spings/extractor to get them to work like that?
