So I went out shopping for the Sig 522 and ended up falling in love with the HK MP5 clone. What other rimfires should I be checking out? I love that HK and the Sig comes well reviewed as well. What fun these things must be.

Ooooh me likey. Does it eat all ammo too? Breakdown like the ole M16A2?

How about interchangeable parts with AR platforms? I ask because I have the very first Vltor Modstock off the assembly line, I may want to put it on that rifle if I buy one.

The whole thing is plastic, minus the barrel and bolt and carrier. Super lightweight, yet sturdy feeling, for what it is. And yes, even the hammer is plastic.

Rail is 1913; everything fits. Mine is the MOE version (the only one worth having, IMHO). Barrel threads are standard and stock and grip can be swapped out.

It's eaten bulk Federal, Winchester, & Remington w/out a hiccup. It also does fine with Aguila & Remington subsonics.

I RARELY break out ARs anymore. :)

I agree about the M&P 15-22. Really great plinker. I would highly recommend getting one.
