LACY LAKEVIEW (November 8, 2012)—A Lacy Lakeview police officer was shot Thursday evening after responding to a report of a suicidal and possibly armed person at a house.

The officer was shot in the shoulder just before 5:30 p.m. Thursday as he and another officer walked back to a patrol car after checking the house and getting no response.

There were 2 people taken from the house. Wondering if (1) it was a planned ambush and (2) what the ambushers' internet handles are.

Prayers to the shot LEO for a full and quick recovery.

Found out more today. Officer was treated and released from hospital. He was very lucky.
