Can't really tell what happened from the article.

Well, hell.

Asked during a 9 a.m. press conference if the officer was killed by friendly fire, Davis acknowledged that it was a possibility.

Not looking good. I watched the video. They are throwing the word "crossfire" around in the video. 9News is calling it blue on blue.

We are looking for another piece of trash who just got off parole and is shooting at us on traffic stops. Twice so far..

A weapons ban is clearly not the answer, for several reasons. Horrific prison sentences at hard labor for any and all who open fire on Law Enforcement or Corrections IS the answer.

Buck Farack.

Be careful. Tin Brenton was killed in a driveby and the shooter was starting a spree until caught and shot.

Whoever in the agency blurted out the blue-on-blue while the investigation is just starting should get an ass kicking.

Denver media is reporting he is in custody after a chase and OIS. I haven't heard any credible LE sources confirm it yet.

Horrible news and is the worst possible situation as I fear we may be losing two brothers due to this incident. The shooter will never be the same but I hope he has the support to make it though this tragic event in one piece.

I hope he understands there is no hate against him for this. This is harder for him then anyone else involved. We were not there. We don't know what happened for sure. Mistakes may have been made but it is something that all of us in the LE family have to learn from to help prevent similar tragic events. RIP our fallen brother and to our other brother who 's life has been altered by this incident please talk it out and get help we're still here for you.

RIP. And he had a vest on.

Have they said where the shots hit? I know the sides of the vests are sometimes weak and the lower abdomen is not covered the best. Very sad story. I just wonder what in the heck the shooter was looking at as a background.
