Sig day at the range!

Brought both my Sigs out on a nice PA. day! Shot the 2340 first using
Wisconsin Cartridge Corp. - 125g - FMJ (RL) and
Load-X - 124g - TMJ
I had never shot full soda cans before so I sprung for a case - quite entertaining! Some of them were very reactive targets:

No failures of any sort. The trigger pin seemed to be walking out from left to right but it only seemed to move a little and then no further.
Then I brought out my P229. Shot three loads thru it:
Good To Go Ammunition - 124g - FMJ
Hunting Shack Ammunition - 124g - PFP (plated flat point) (RL)
Parabellum Research - 125g - JHP (value line)(RL)

I had never shot them one after the other before... I still like my trusty old 229 the best. No failures of any kind with these loads either! This is the 81st, 82nd and 83rd loads thru this pistol.

Looks good, i just picked up 500 rds, of Precision cartridge inc. 125gr. tcj/fp have you ran any of this ammo thru your sig's. i have P229 similar to yours.

Yes I have. As I remember, it functioned fine and went bang every time. It felt like a stout load. I didn't get as good as accuracy out of it as some other factory reloads...

Those full soda cans are a blast to shoot....especially with something that really puts a sudden shock to their system. :supergrin:
