Looking for a moderately priced red dot for my Ruger Charger..Might even consider a cheapy..
I want to make sure it is a pistol red dot sight..
Thanks in advance..
You can get a cheap Tasco from CDNN for like 20 bucks.

The Simmons SP-3 red dots are good. INexpensive, 3MOA dots and are 1" in circumfrence. Works well for varmint control and target practice.

I just bought but have not received a 25... I hope it's good.
I shoot allot of bullseye. If you cannot swing or justify a Aimpoint look at the ultra dot scopes. Parallax is the killer of cheapo red dots. This is a good place to pay/spend a bit of money.

Check out Primary Arms.
+1 They are great folks to deal with, also. Can't recommend them enough!

I picked one up a few weeks ago at a local pawnshop...40bucks OTD. Going to mount it on my Buckmark when I get a TacSol rail with integrated rear sight.

For rimfire pistols, I like the huge 30 and 40mm tube red dots like Barska and Truglo make. I have not had much enjoyment from micro red dots like my Aimpoint T-1, Trijicon RMR or Burris Fastfire on handguns. You rarely have to "find" the dot in the smaller sights compared to the larger tube ones.
