I was doing a small plumbing repair and went to the hardware to get some supplies. While I was out, my wife texted me "just got home - wha'cha doing?". I sent back "I'm in town picking up some flucks". When I got home the car was packed & she was leaving for her mother's.

She was supposed to help me with my project, but now I guess I'll have to flucks myself.

Did you ask her to come home and assist you in laying some pipe?

I think I know what the problem is. All this time you have been flucksing her and what she truly wanted was a really good flux.

Maybe because your text made her realize she didn't want to be married to someone who didn't know how to spell, "flux"??:dunno::whistling:

Sounds like how I lost the first wife, she was hounding me about the "Honey Do" list, so I sent her to the hardware store for a board stretcher, some 2" putty, a metric Crescent wrench and a round tuit.

She ran off with the counter guy at the hardware store and I declared him my "New Best Friend"

I'll have to flucks myself. It happens. But you're in good company. I bet Dave Petreaus has a similar problem for awhile. :whistling:
