Did it not come with a fired casing in a small brown envelope? That has the test fire date that determines the born date.

That is an American made G19 and the serial number probably does not exist in our unofficial database.

While I cannot tell you the month (the envelope in the box will do that), I can bet it was made this year as every American made Glock I have seen come through the shop was made this year.

If you simply cannot wait until you pick up the gun to learn this, call Glock.

Posted using Outdoor Hub Campfire (http://www.outdoorhub.com/mobile/)Danny and Z man gave you the best answer.
When I read the serial number you posted I suspected it was one of the recently American made Glocks but wasn't absolutely positive. When Danny posted his reply that confirmed it for me and as he stated it won't be in the serial number project,
If you can't wait to look at the cartridge case envelope call Glock with the serial number. SJ 40

Good day comrades! :) I was able to get my unit yesterday. I have checked the whole package but still cant find the date. I was hoping if there might be anyone here who has connections with glock and maybe do a small favor for me. I live in the philippines and it would be hard for me to contact glock not to mention expensive. Just an itch i have to scratch since its my first pistol. Thanks in advance.

09/12 (+ or - a month). See http://www.stakhaus.com/index.php?page=141&results=35&sortby= . Many evidently not shipping with fired cases nowadays.

Any being shipped to a country that does not have a database for the ballistic fingerprint of a spent casing do not get them. We in the U.S. have Maryland and New York to thank for ours. Did they leave out the worthless lock also?

When you get it, check the envelope with the two fired cases. It'll tell you the date.

And yes, the 4-letter/3-digit serial number is an American-made Glock.

I can tell you that AADX 00X was test fired on 9-28-12. AAEN would be newer than that so probably October.
