View Full Version : Do I chance a 19?
My new Gen 3 17 has decided to throw brass at my head and I'm now shopping for a new piece to carry. I'll keep the 17 for range fun and have a 30274 in the mail for it. I can pick up a lightly used Gen 4 23 for $450 but sticking to one caliber would be better. I really can't stand little guns so the 19/23 would be the smallest I go, not sure what to do :dunno:

Get a 19 and purchase 2 apex extractors, problem solved...
If I was looking for a G 19,I would look for a Gen 2 or Gen 3 in very good condition produced prior to 12/06 and have Fun. SJ 40
Go for the G19 Gen3, then get a G26 Gen4!
The G19 shoots like the bullets are riding a laserbeam to the target, and the G26 shoots very well, for a smaller-framed (grip) pistol!
Sorry. Neither my G19 Gen3 or my G26 Gen4, are for sale.
Go for the 23, get some more variety in your collection.

I recently picked up a 1994 19gen2 for under $400 in excellent condition with three mags. Shot it yesterday and it is Glock Perfection.

Besides the 17 I have a SAM 1911 and a Ruger GP100 along with my AR, 10/22 and shotgun. Variety is present and accounted for. If anyone knows where to find a gen 2 19 please feel free to share it!

Cool, is that a good deal?

Get a G23 plus a 40-9mm barrel and G19 mags.
I run a gen 3 G27 with a Storm Lake 40-9mm barrel and G26 mags.
No brass to face (BTF).
Nothing but 100% sweetness.
I've got about 2000 rounds on the clock in 9mm.
With 50% being hollow points.

You sure? It lets me put it in my cart and gives me a shipping quote.
And it seems to be a good deal. Saw one that sold on Buds Gun Shop for $321.

Yeah, did the same and added to cart. Didn't see my FFL so I called and they said they didn't have any.

Then invoice Glock for the extra $160 you had to spend to make their products run right. :whistling:

Oh, well that sucks. I found a few, one was in fair condition, I think they wanted $400 for it, and one was in pretty good condition, almost excellent, and they wanted $480. Figured those prices aren't that great, so I didn't link them.
Several people getting new G19s recently have posted very good range reports with no issues.
