Anyone have suggestions for what to use on the sights of a s&w Bodyguard 380? They are flat black and difficult to see.

So, I was thinking of putting white something on the front sight.

Any suggestion on what to use?

This should be in the general firearms forum but.....

I put XS sights on mine and couldn't be happier. A much cheaper option would be white out :wavey:

Maybe this http://www.brightsights.com/index.shtml or a bottle of model paint or some nail polish.

This might work also but it may be more than needed for just one gun

I used nail polish on my LCP and it was a hugh improvement. Colored in the top of the front blade only. Those XS sights on the bodyguard sure look hugh for such a small gun.

Thanks

Although it is intended for point and shoot. I would like to have something on the front for fast acquisition and training.

i dont know why you would even need sights on this type/style of pistol....a pistol this small is designed for one thing and one thing only....up close and personal protection

Never used one but I would think the laser would do the job.

I have one and I agree. It also has a laser to aid with accuracy.

Nain polish will make it a Glock and it will fit in the General Glocking forum

My daughter brought some Halloween glow in the dark fingernail polish home and told me I should put some on my sights. I did my Ruger LCP which is with me all day - every day. The stuff doesn't have much of a glow but it has stuck better than anything else I've tried including genuine sight paint. :wow:

I went with white nail polish - Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear from Wal Mart. I'm adding a couple of coats now. It is better then the black.

I really like these http://www.nitesiters.com/Nitesiters_Handgun_Night_Sights.html. You need to follow their instructions.set the adhesive with a hair dryer and then leave them alone for an hour or so to let the adhesive set up.
