What's all your thoughts on these "Mission First Tactical M44S 2-Piece Quad Rail Handguard AR-15 Carbine Length Polymer?" When I got my Ar15 it had one on it and I'm just not sure really what to think. I like how light weight it is and all, but it is squire-ish and just I don't know.... untrust worthy in a way.

Its ugly as hell but how does it feel when shooting?

MFT's products seem very cheap and crappy to me. I would stay away. JMO.

Looks like junk to me. Someone will be along soon to tell you how their friend has one and that its just as good as a Daniel Defense rail.

Not only is it ugly but it doesn't feel great in the hand. When I had a forward grip on it, while shooting it it just didn't feel sturdy to me.

Absolute junk, worse than UTG.
I would rather have standard hand guards. The MagPul MOE
guards are nice.

What are the MOE guards like? I read some where that if your going to put a light on or anything then your better off just getting a rail system. I have a light that I want on there, the magpul slanted forward grip deal (really like that), and later on down the road I'd like an optic.

There are rail sections that are easily added for lights & grips.

An optic needs to be receiver mounted.
