I've been IMpatiently waiting for the GEN 4 G20 to hit CA distributors. I have had zero luck finding one, so I'm wondering if anyone from maybe NV or AZ has one, and where you got it? I'm LE, and will be buying it through the Blue Label program. I tried getting one from Ed's Public Safety, but they can't sell to customers outside their new distribution area anymore. I'm hoping that there's a Blue Label dealer in NV or AZ that can help me out.

I know there are more than a few GEN 4 G20 owners on here, where you at?

Wish I could help but can't do much other than sympathize with you. I've been looking for this same model since June. Ed's had 50 of them at that time, but as you know the blue label guns can only be sold in the dealer's regional area. There is a Glock LE dealer in my state that I've contacted on a couple of occasions to inquire as to the availability of a Gen4 G20. Here's what he had to say most recently:

I can order one for you. $464.20. Don't be in any hurry. No delivery date available. I would allow a minimum of 160 days.

The rumored release date of the regular old red label guns is shortly after the first of the year. Since that's way less than 160 days I've decided to just wait until they hit the civilian market and buy one that way.

Best of luck to you. I live in Colorado so if you find one in the western part of the country please inform. I'll do the same.

If I'm not mistaken, there is a very good reason for this: California has not qualified the Gen 4 models... I.e. can't register them or whatever.

I have no idea why, or if its still an issue after the last election or anything, but Gen 4s were unauthorized for California for some time.

Gen 4s are still not Ca legal.

I have bought (4) GEN 4 Glocks in CA, and have one on the way. Some of us are "Safe Handgun Roster" exempt, and everyone else can go through SSE as a workaround.
