Hello all. Just finished my new lower with an RRA parts kit in it. Love it so far. Fit and finish of this kit is very nice, also the trigger is fantastic, for an trigger in this price class.
Now, I was wondering about the notched hammer since my other three RRA kits didn't came with an notched hammer. What are the advantages and disadvantages of such an hammer?
I heard they don't work very well in .22 conversions. And should prevent a AR going full auto if something fails in the trigger group in an AR 15. Is there some truth to that?
