Wow. I'm guessing there will be no Nobel Prize in that guy's future. How'd he think he was going to get away with that?

The guy steals 111 firearms.

The cops recover 28.

The cops boldly state that "an un-known ammount of the guns were sold on the street."

Hmmm...

Lessee.....

Carry the 6........I think I can figure this one out.

This conveniently happened a few days before Eric Holder is supposed to be coming to CT for a news conference for a "Gun Violence Initiative".

And with the cops being unable to ascertain how many guns are still on the street, i can only slap my forehead and wonder why the taxpayers continue to pay the inflated salaries of such brain trusts in the futile belief they can keep us safe

Sounds like they are implying that some of the guns may still be stashed and unsold instead of GT's magnificent assessment that the LEO's are unable to subtract 28 from 111.

Come on now, why would the media report the truth when they can lie and sensationalize it more? :whistling:

What really surprises me is that they didn't call the stolen guns Glocks.....

You know how damn evil those Glocks are and all......

I want to know where you all came up with the number 28? I have counted the guns in the picture a couple of times now and come up with 27. Maybe I need to take my shoes off so I have some toes available to help me count.

Thank you for pointing that out.

I would also have to guess there was some good interrogation skills at work to get the guy to give up the seller of the gun.

Good Job Bridgeport police

Yeah, but taking over 100 guns is going to raise some suspicion.

If just one fell off his truck he probably would have got away with it.

The Mayor wants Cite S&W for the actions of another person. I would bet they where shipping their guns in the manor prescribed by the BAFTE. But yet this Mayor wants them to be held responsible. How about the trucking company that hired a convicted thief to transport guns and other merchandise. Oh wait he was reformed. I guess that boy needs some more reformin.

I think the mayor should cite himself for making stupid statements.

Nice job reading between the li(n)es!

Theft by a transport employee who was probably able to own these legally before this stunt is NOT a loophole!

Thanks again for pointing it out.

Yes, one of the last lines says 28 were recovered. But, underneath the picture of only 27 guns, it says 29 were recovered. Hence, the confusion.
