Anyone know if the MBUS front sights have a regular front sight post or use a proprietary one?

It's a regular AR type sight post, but it comes with a tool for easy adjustments.

Yeah, I have the tool, but am looking at a KNS Precision front sight post and wanted to make sure i'm good to go with the MBUS

I don't know if you can swap the front sight in an MBUS or not. Might wanna email Magpul and ask.

Honestly, though, I'd skip any kind of different front post sight on the MBUS.

I'll email them and see. It was just a thought, I really like the KNS precision sight. Anyone have experience with it?

i will say this.. i too hate the thickness of the magpul front sight.. but for a back up sight? meh its ok. I run it down most of the time and mainly use my Aimpoint... BUT i do shoot with irons on a regular basis as well, to keep my iron skills sharp.
