True story! Very well put. If only the US had generals who could make "ballsy" executive decisions like that :dunno:

If done correctly with the modern stuff, what could happen in Pyongyang would make Hiroshima and Nagasaki look like a walk in the park.

Bad part would be destroying the lair of the Unicorn.

Much ado about nothing . They launch , we give them food and fuel oil in exchange for hollow promises to tone it down . Next year , we do it all over again . Same old game .

Wasn't this all settled during a conversation between Alan Alda and a group of people that pretended to not understand English?

Only because the first time they ever try to launch a nuke it'll explode on the launchpad.

OMG how hilarious would THAT be
It would save some other country the trouble and money of having to do it themselves.

I think we just need to sneak a couple of nukes into North Korea and then tell the world they had an ND.

So they have a rocket. Big deal. They are just a proxy for China. Much ado about nothing.

If anyone thinks they are a threat to the US, they are silly.

It seems war is the answer to everything to many people here.

I'm sure they already have at least one. The UN likes to send in Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, and Helen Keller to do their "searching"

I agree. Peace talks with N. Korea are like having a submarine with screens for windows......full of holes and just goes nowhere!

Not yet.....Not that it would be much of a "war" if it came to that :whistling:

We (USA) never were officially at war with North Korea. Officially the North and South of Korea are still at war.

we werent even at war and we still lost over 35,000 soldiers and the N koreans and chinese had us at a stand still..we pushed for the armistice because we knew we couldnt defeat them with what we had in country at the time..

would N korea today pose a threat to the US military..i think more then the iraq army did...but seoul would surely be destroyed ..thats over 25 million people just there.

That's why I was wondering if N. Korea could become another nuke-fest....plus Iran thinking that everyone is dumb enough to believe that their nuclear capabilities are for "peaceful reason" *PFFFT*

Hey, didn't we already have this conversation in 1951?

BTW, if I recall correctly, it was officially a "Police Action".

This disaster was started under Clinton. At this point, it's too late. NK is a nuke country that will continue to develop their capabilities. Iran will be next, unless Israel stops them.
