I'm glad cops are there too, even if I need them and they're not. I sure don't want to put up with all the morons they do. Let someone else worry about the idiots while I sip a cool drink on the weekend.

I do not envy them, and I'm glad there are people who are more than willing to be cops, because I'm not going down that path. :tongueout:

Well, I think the knocking on the trunk gave them probably cause.

All over a silly tail light violation.... lol. Bet the owner of that vehicle is glad he hadn't fixed that yet.

His hands are free as he steps out. So he was freed up at some point in the trunk.

And modern trunks have those safety wires to unlock the trunk.

So what the hay was he doing in there???? Fudge the banging on the roof of the trunk, how about pulling the tab and getting out????

The interior trunk release handles have only been mandatory since 2002, perhaps the car is older than that? Or, if not, the handle broke off or is otherwise missing? Or he panicked and forgot it was there? Or he missed it in the dark?

Could be a lot of factors.............:dunno:
