What's the latest and greatest?

Last few years a lot of my buddies swear by ADG, just looking for some of the more current favorites.

The cologne does not replace the shower, merely complements it.

And +1 for Drakkar Noir.

La Nuit- yves saint laurent - ladies mostly love the smell of this one
Guilty- by Gucci - been told it smells amazing by lots of women
Both a little pricey but women tend to get closer just so they can smell these colognes

I think most perfume/cologne stinks and it gives me a headache as well.

A good wash and deodorant works wonders. If I smell cologne, I wonder what they are trying to hide.....:whistling:

Right now, Adidas Deep Energy and Impulse...gifts from the girlfriend. Cheap at Walmart for gift sets of cologne and aftershave, or cologne/aftershave/shower gel. For special occasions: http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4290732&cp=4090260.4090355.17030056

Another good cheaper one is from Playboy...The Vegas one.

Says it all.

I'm shocked at the # of men here that wear it regularly. . . and wear enough that either they are exotic dancers or they exemplify the video. Cologne is for the babe that's nuzzling your neck, not the secretary 2 departments down. ;)

Funny side story - my 2 teenage daughters love to spray crap on themselves. My almost-5 yr old SON watches with envy.

"Dad, I want some boy-spray."

"What?"

"I want some boy-spray. Sissy and Anna have girl-spray. I want some boy-spray."

I grabbed an old (very old) bottle of Pinaud (the stuff your barber uses) and a Q-tip and put some on him. We've done it 3x in about 2 weeks. He's on cloud 9. Walks up to all sorts of people and asks them to smell him.

My favorites have already been mentioned... Fahrenheit, Armani and Acqua di Gio.

But I just want to chime and thank all the cologne users for stepping forward. Seems everyone I know thinks men's cologne is for metro sexuals or fruits.

I don't get that, at all. It smells nice. Period. What's so wrong with that??

It is. See my previous post. Cologne is for the one that is closest to you. Your main squeeze. If anyone else notices, you are putting too much on.

Cologne is so '50's. There is nothing worse than being in a meeting, or an elevator, with some dude who has slathered himself with cologne.

BTW, a number of fine restaurants here in Santa Fe will not admit people wearing cologne or perfume.

Oh, and do I need to tell you to use this stuff sparingly? If more than one person a month comments about it, it's too much. They aren't being nice...just trying to tell you that you are polluting the joint.

Very Sexy for Him by Victoria's Secret is my goingoutwiththewifey cologne.

Every day wear is either Old Spice (still a classic) or a splash of Sailor Jerry's rum as aftershave. Wife thought I was nuts to use booze as aftershave until the first time she smelled it on me. Now she loves it and tells her friends...lol. Best part is it's a convenient excuse to keep plenty of my favorite rum around.

Lacoste is what I prefer, not to heavy and clean smelling, not masking. I like the essential and the blue, but they are both very similar. I give the nod to the essential since I had it long before the blue came out

I don't wear any... but between my coco-butter lotion and degree deodorant I get comments from time to time.

My cousin and one of my boys are big on the colognes with pheromones in them. I'm a non-believer, but they swear the colognes got them lucky a couple times each. I keep calling it fox pee etc.

Although one time I was chatting with this really rich guy's (athlete) divorced father who was back out fishing for chicks. He shook my hand... and whatever he was wearing(pretty sure it had to be a pheromone cologne) stayed on my hand. It wasn't a strong smell but it lingered. 5-6 hours later I was at home in bed hoping he got home safely. :wow:  :couch:
