OMFG!!! I was not expecting this when i clicked on the thread but dude! You collection puts many to shame & they're all .22's I had no idea you could do so much with a 10/22.
More power to you and your Passion but as 'ct' noted - they are 22s. Fantasy 22s.
Someone has been chopping up a lot of airsoft guns.
posted from my stupid smart phone, please excuse any spelling mistakes.

thanks. i have more fun with my .22's than with my AR15 or my Saiga 12. i usually leave the higher calibers at home and just spend hours having fun plinking with the .22's
its a fun hobby/collection to do since there's a lot of guns i cant buy nor own since im in california.
id rather be shooting 4 cents a round for hours instead of 40 cents for a couple of minutes.

That is the best collection of .22's I have ever seen!!
I had no idea there were so many types of .22 kits out there.

yea some of these 10/22 conversions have been done 7 years ago but it was only limited to certain stocks like the P90, FS2000, AUG, M249 SAW, AICS, G36, HK SL8, XM8.
i took it to the extreme with other stocks that has never been done before like the M200 Cheytac, Barrett M82, M60, UMP, TAR21, L85, ACR, Dragunov, etc so ive laid a path for other DIY'ers to challenge themselves to make one.
sure its a PITA to do but its totally worth it when you finally complete it and go out for a test fire. the WTF reactions are definitely priceless especially when people see these conversions in person. the dads and with their kids are usually more excited because its definitely in their generation where they grew up with evil black rifles due to the video games (COD/Battlefield). i let the kids shoot the conversions and its just a huge grin from ear to ear.
priceless.

thanks.
they're definitely not available on the shelf to buy ready to drop in.
if someone really wants it, the just pick out any centerfire replica off an airsoft site, and either use their own tools like a dremel, angle grinder, drill press, milling machine or pay a gunsmith to retrofit it so the .22LR action/barrel drops right in. then use aluminum strips or mold some epoxy putty for brackets/shims and bolt everything back up until its secure.
wait til im done with my WWII parts kit.
i already have parts kits to make a .22 dress up kit for my Marlin 60's for the following WWII centerfire replica:
MG42
1919A6
1919A4
M2HB (Ma Duece)
Madsen LMG
PKM
Bren
BAR
also coming up for evil black rifle dress up kit for the Marlin 60:
KRISS
M240 Bravo
XM8
Muzzelite bullpup
FAMAS
Roni
MSR
EDM Windrunner
.22's are awesome. Those are some huge looking .22's on the belt feed!!!

Wow. Seriously, how much for the M249 or for me to commission one from you?

sorry ive decided not to sell these. just dont want to deal with FFL/manufacturing licenses/fees.
ill be doing a video explaining how to do it later on after i do a couple of test fires to see how it holds up.
i got this stock used for $120 so you can find one for around that price and a $70 used Marlin 60 off gunbroker.com
difficulty was like a 4 out of 10.

You could make quite a bit of money making "drop in" kits for .22's.
You do good work.
Very impressed. Like you, I started using .22's a lot more frequently about 4 years ago becuase of ammo prices and got into buying all the various .22 caliber black guns. Still shoot centerfire versions, but only a hand full of times a year now.
Changed up the 10/22's into a few of my old conversions this weekend

One of the coolest threads i've seen in awhile. Thanks for sharing your collection. It's incredible.
my xmas present came!!!
a new 1918 BAR stock. its currently in its airsoft form so ill enjoy this for awhile before i decide to gut it open and drop in a .22LR action/barrel.
the width of the BAR receiver is a bit over 1.5 inches so in theory a Ruger 10/22 can fit in it. if the 10/22 wont fit then ill drop in my Marlin 795
everything is full metal except the plastic handguard and butt stock. but i have to say that the faux wood looks real
this bad boy feels like it weighs about 17-18lbs. will probably take it over 20lbs with a .22LR inside.
i paid $365 shipped for this limited stock. cant wait to gut this and take it to the range when im done with it
its been awhile. my wife put me on check which is why i havent been able to complete more .22 conversions. we got into a fight because she said i spend too much time with my guns.
now for pics.

i still have my other BAR with the pistol grip version that hasnt been converted yet. so ill eventually have 2 different BAR's with a .22LR inside

Once you convert the airsoft shells to fit the 10/22 or the Marlins, how long does it take you to swap the barrel action between them?
Once you convert the airsoft shells to fit the 10/22 or the Marlins, how long does it take you to swap the barrel action between them?
about 5 minutes or less.
if there's more screws then 7-8 minutes.
decided it was time to gut it. here's 3 hours of work so far just trying to figure out what needs to be fabricated and what needs cutting
there's a Marlin 795 "pre fitted" in right now.
- more cutting to move the 795 ejection port forward.
- buy a metal barrel shroud to go over the 795 barrel to fit the heavy bipod and front sight.
- redesign the extension trigger.
- drill a hole for an extension screw through the action
- drill a hole for the safety
- JB weld Marlin 795 magazine to the BAR magazine

Latest progress on the .22LR 1918 BAR using a Marlin 795
Finished JB welding the brass coupling. Just cured last night so its nice and tight. Just have to paint the brass piping flat black and then I'm off to the range tomorrow for test fires.
Why did I use brass piping? Because the 795 barrel was too short and I wanted to re-use the bipod so I bought brass piping with a 3/4 inner diameter that easily slips over the 795 barrel. Used a couple of couplings to mate 3 pipes together. Also found a threaded piece that can simulate a flash hider.
