I was at the local gun show today and these guys happened to be there. They are a manufacturer out of Apopka Florida (across the street from spikes...) but their rifles looks solid! I was just wondering if anyone had experience with them?

I have one with about 1,000 rds through it. Not a single failure of any kind. I'm happy with it.

Would you recommend buying one?

Here's a June '11 thread from m4carbine about TWS. YMMV

In the pictures I see sights mounted too far forward, unstaked castle-nuts (one that is one of the ATI ones that cannot be staked), and misrepresentation of parts.

Wow,........from what I saw on their website, I would suggest
avoiding them like herpes! :wow:

Rather comical how they like to put bipeds on nearly every carbine!

Personally, I'd suggest a BCM mid length upper on whatever lower you can find a good deal on.

Another vote for a BCM standard Mid length

Or of course a lightweight, I dig the LW's.

Bravo company is like Las Vegas, they have perfected the process of separating you from your money..........and making you feel totally great and happy about it. Good company and products.

They always have tables at the PB and FtL gun shows. I wasn't impressed with what I handled.

The issue with buying them separate is im only 20 and would have to wait till june to be able to purchase a lower! So for now im stuck with buying complete rifles!

Why would one have to be 21 ro buy a rifle lower?

This may be wrong but some of the guys at my local (Virginia) gun shop told me that you have to be 21 to buy a stripped lower because it is not classified as a rifle but as 'other' and can be made in to a pistol. However, you can buy a complete lower if it has a stock attached, or a complete rifle at 18.

Again, I haven't been able to confirm this but it sounds arbitrary enough to be true. Can anyone else confirm?

99% sure CA is the same way. I know for certain its 18 on a long gun and I am almost positive its 21 for a stripped lower.

Because a lower with or without a stock is transfered as "other" and you can only buy rifles and shotguns under 21

All of the forms i've filled out for firearms have a specific box for bare/stripped receivers. And for that matter, i've never had anyone check my age. Maybe because I look at least 21?

Run and hide from TWS.

They sell crap and have horrible customer service. Took me 7 weeks to get some crappy uppers with pathetic machining and finish. No return phone calls, no return emails. Now they are banned for the time being on Gun Broker.

Plus Greg Swift is an absolute jerk, as he finally wrote me an email to my numerous emails that was extremely rude.

I will never ever buy anything from this company again. Check out their reviews on Gun Broker and see why.

Or your preferred roll mark if your feeling spendy!

I perfer the bushmaster roll mark......but not for $700 at the last gun show
