Tell me about it, I have a bunch a 1911's siting at a store that are paid off. Each month I have to decide which one I want to take home. This month it is going to be a Volkmann from a fellow 1911 Addict!!! It just looks to good to leave sitting there.

That REALLY sucks. If the Volkmann is the one that recently sold on addicts, I would be silly wanting it to come home.

A Pro is easily acquired,......just a long wait.

A stainless steel Guncrafter Industries' No Name, 1of 3,
built Alex, who is Wilson Combat's previous Pistol Smith,
head engineer, & states these were to Master Grade specs?
Now that one is the one I want.

Did I mention it's shiny?

It was the only one to have the slide flats polished. I really like the
look. Never have cared for the slide & frame flats both being bushed/polished.
It will get scratched,.........but it is easier to clean up than a finished one.

This is a tough thread to read - That was my Volkmann too!

Joe - ProOne over on addicts has Dave's old Stainless and the middle s/n to yours and, now Greg's.

ml - Look forward to your report. That Volkmann is a piece of art.

You guys really suck. Still paying on the Wilson from 2012 and you want to tempt me with 2013 already.

I hope you all feel as guilty as you should right now. 2013, yet one more year the kids duct tape the shoes together, steal school supplies from their classmates and the family cats are forced to hunt squirrels out back for lack of Meow Mix. All so pappy can get a 2013 era 1911.......

So I am in the fetal position bleeding lying in the corner and you kick me in the gut?

Truth be told I already had "plans" for 2013. I am thinking a custom .50 Beowulf caliber 1911

Or maybe if that does not pan out something in .38 Super.....not sure which :whistling:

LOL

I have not ruled out that whole civil law suit for severe PI1911E (poster induced 1911 envy)....I might even expand it now to more of you! I have not seen the picture disclaimers I requested last week before you all post those 1911 pics.....I mean if I get the right judge I might just win.

It's all fun and game till someone spends the mortgage money on a new 1911....homeless but well armed is not cool!
