Picked up an addition to my collection of .22 LR shooters, a very nice Hi Standard H-D Military with 4 inch barrel, manufactured in 1947. I fired a few rounds through it with no issues, it'll get a good range test in a few days.

There's one of those at my local shop and I've been thinking about picking it up.
Congrats!

Very nice:wow:
Shot one of those yesterday with a 6" barrel. Sweet shooting pistol. It's my brothers. He inherited it from his father in law.
I would love to find one for sale.
Congrats!

Very nice. In light of the current ammo shortage I suspect it'll get a lot of use (& TLC).

The High Standard is one fine pistol. I have had 2 Victor's and 4 107 Military in the past. I know have one with a Falcon alluminum barrel and a dot scope, along with the original barrel. Belong to a .22 club and do a lot of shooting.
I will post a picture of it later.
Good luck!
