While I totally agree with the cited article, I'm shocked that USA Today would even allow this article to be printed. Hope that light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train. Could it possibly be that common sense might prevail?

This morning's news is laced with numerous political zombies trying to make personal gains from the disaster in Sandy Hook.
Mayors, mostly, but there are a few others who, I predict, will bubble up from the slime and ooze.

Those vultures (Ellenville, NY, for example) cannot let this disaster (crisis) go to waste, just like their lord-n-master, in DC.
