Should it be renewed, the banís effects on gun violence are likely to be small at best and perhaps too small for reliable measurement. AWs were rarely used in gun crimes even before the ban. LCMs are involved in a more substantial share of gun crimes, but it is not clear how often the outcomes of gun attacks depend on the ability of offenders to fire more than ten shots (the current magazine capacity limit) without reloading.

It's like the fiscal cliff crap. All the Dums want to talk about is raising taxes on the rich, the rich, the rich. It doesn't solve anything.

Yep, the last ban didn't work, it didn't curtail the violence and a new ban won't end the violence either. This is the message that needs to be spread, been there done that and it didn't work.

The left don’t care about facts they only care about feel good knee jerk thoughtless reactions. They are wiping fake tears away about the murdered children that escaped their insatiable appetite for abortions. When the hypocrites and their slimy leader start enforcing the gun laws already in place on the ghetto rats and criminals that commit the vast majority of the crimes then I will believe them. I got an idea they can start with prosecuting the two highest ranking gun runners in America the obama and his top criminal holder.
