Looks like insurance fraud.
The people tried a trial run the weekend before and failed. Allegations are that the explosion originated in the timer set microwave, the inside gas regulators had been removed 6 hours prior to blast and the gas valves also removed. Personal belongings had been removed and stored by one of the suspects sons. Home insurance was raise in December to 300k. Was to be a 3 way split

How incredibly stupid do you have to be to assume you can do this in a densely-packed neighborhood without the risk that someone would be killed?

Are these the ones where everyone just so happened to be out of the house, INCLUDING the cat being boarded for the day?

The same people that killed the neighbors?

Yes, they did. I'll bet they thought they were clever, too.

I hope they get charged with multiple counts of murder.:steamed::steamed::steamed:

You guys should read the probable cause affidavit. It is pretty amazing how they pulled all this together. I know the affidavit is only the police's side of things.. but man if they didn't do this, they sure built one helluva circumstantial case.

Note.. if you decide to read it, the first 20 pages is pretty dull. It simply describes each single charge, and why they were charged with it(briefly)... The actual probable cause statement starts on page 21. Very interesting read I thought.
