There is a lot of truth in this.
It is well known to first responders that after being exposed to a gruesome crime scene, they may show symptoms of posttraumatic stress. There are ample resources to treat such issue available to people so involved.
However, now that our irresponsible media is determined to subject millions of people to as much horror, tears and heart-wrenching drama as they can, countless millions of people are now displaying signs of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).
The media should have a new motto, "Spreading mental illness, one step at a time."
Ultimately, we are to blame for consuming what they feed us.
