“We can get the job done,” added House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., one of the bill’s co-sponsors. In an interview Tuesday with NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, Pelosi predicted: “Right away we could pass the ban on the assault magazine.”

Would "American Rifleman" fall into the "Assault Magazine" category?

Also lets ban them when some companies are reporting sales of 30rd mags in the last two weeks equivalent to over three YEARS of sales of the same product. There have never been so many mags loose in the country before. How do you propose we ban them, nancy and carolyn??!

What if there were a requirement to turn them in or destroy them within 60 days or face 10 years in prison?

I would definitely heed that law. :whistling:

Would this be the turning point or would everyone just follow along?

I've faced prison enough times in my life that one more won't make much difference.

Not a problem. There is a judge on call with a rubber stamp. See you in 37 seconds.

Hahah nah it's taken me way longer to wake the judge up, or leave their picnic, kids' ball game, or wait for them to come off the bench to sign my warrants :-)

I'd file a multi-million dollar Bivens suit against the Congress people who voted to violate my civil rights under the color of law, anyone who chose to enforce an illegal, unconstitutional act against me, the Federal Government in general, and any entity in general in the eforcement activity.

In other words, I would keep them busy in court with lots of red tape as long as humanly possible.

All the while you are getting butt probed in prison, you family has lost its house, etc. They will be laughing at you.

I would think Out Magazine is more an Assault Mag. I'd be OK with it being banned. LOL

Tell me, just where are we going to imprison all of those gun owners that have been made instant criminals just by owning "assault rifles" and "high capacity magazines?" We do not have enough room in prison for the really bad people now. Do we turn them loose in order to have room for the gun owners who are now "criminals?"

I've heard a lot of talk about banning "clips" that hold more than 20 rounds. It would be funny if they did that, and left the magazines alone.

I guess if they ban "clips" my favorite place to get my hair cut will have to change their name.

Backwoods folk and Liberals all seem to think "clips" are magazines.

You can't seem to convince them otherwise. But, I am good with stripper clips going away. They are a PITA anyway. When I owned an SKS, I never used them.

I have never owned an M1 Garand or had the urge to do so.

So, I guess that covers "clips".

Right next to the people smoking weed. Dont worry, our "friends" will come round people up and tells if we dont like the law there are ways to go about changing it.

Think of it like this: employment opportunities and job security for those that enforce this law.

Sadly, Congress critters just vote the way their staffs or party tell them to vote. They don't even have a clue what they're voting for/against. Witness:
John Conyers - Read the bill? That's a lot to ask for $174,000 a Year. - YouTube
