So as crazy as it sounds I am thinking of buying one of these.
http://www.nighthawkcustom.com/pistols/22-pistol-22-conversions/complete-22-pistol.html
Now $2195 MSRP for a .22LR 1911 is crazy. I can of course get a couple of nice .45ACP 1911s for that price or a pay for Bear or the majority of a full caliber Wilson, Nighthawk, Brown etc.
I have "enough" 1911s (whatever that means ) so I do not need a full caliber one for any real purpose. I had a .22LR 1911 (Puma) but it never felt right, I mean shooting it never caught my fancy. I think the cost of .22LR in a really nice 1911 is a great combo.
Of course I could just get a conversion unit for much cheaper. Heck I could buy a nice conversion unit and a nice Kimber to mount it on for example and still save money over the N.H. .22LR.
So besides the "if you want it get it" thing (Which I live by most of the time) are there any good reasons I should get this? Somebody talk me out of this!
What does everyone think? :dunno:
I hate 1911 shopping, too many damn options :crying:
