Yes! Exactly what I was thinking when I saw these hypocrites make their video. Jason Bourne for gun control? What a tool!

I love the work of most of those actors but what a crappy campaign if that is what it is. (not talking about the satire edit).

Julianne Moore shot a woman that was holding a baby at 1:25 of the video.

To bad they will never be called out on a national scale.

You don't understand. Using guns responsibly and irresponsibly is their job as actors. Sort of like arming police officers and the army.

Typical Hollywood liberals. They make millions making violent movies and music videos and then blame legal gun owners.

And this is exactly why I could give a flying **** about what celebrities think about anything.

They're people just like the rest of us. Some of them are intelligent and some of them are dumber than a box of dried out ****. Simply having the ability to act does not magically bestow one with a sense of clarity and enlightenment that the rest of us commoners supposedly lack!

Every person in that video has used a gun for financial gain and then they the audacity to support taking away my right to gun ownership. In my humble opinion, that's treasonous!

Such bastions of humanity. It warms my heart to see celebrities care so much about small people.

It is pathetic to think that the very lawmakers who want to ban their own constituents from owning guns will shamelessly take our money and allocate it for their OWN personal armed security detail!

These actors make me ill! I have always been a huge fan of the Bourne series... but seeing Damon and Renner coming out VOCALLY against guns is hypocrisy of the highest order! I am done with these people!

I suggest we forward this video far and wide!

Celebrities...Guns are bad, well, unless we are using them in our movies, to fatten up our bank accounts.

Or carrying them to protect themselves from the unwashed humanity of gun owners OR having armed bodyguards at their sides.

This. If they wanted to show how sincere they are, they would condemn all past films they were in with guns and make a pledge to never again appear in such films, and condemn the movie studios, producers, and directors for these films.

I'll hold my breath.

Unfortunately, too many people do put these people on a pedestal and hold their opinion in high regard.

Who cares what any of those losers think?

I only have 1 use for any of them, Sarah Silverman, and it has nothing to do with my tv.

Also: Will Ferrell - people that go to theatres to see your movies NEED to be shot

hmmm, wonder how many will continue to act in movies that contain violence involving guns. lol. This reminds me of how the kid from two and a half men spoke out against how filthy and immoral the show was, yet seemed to have no problem raking in 350g a episode

If the discussion was on censorship of movies and art they would be singing a different tune.

Yep.

It has always sickened me to watch Hollywood calling for bans and controls on the weapons killers use while divorcing themselves entirely from any responsibility whatsoever that they own for the whole "killing is cool" message that they continually pump into every level of our culture.

For the record, I don't support movie censorship any more than I support gun control...I just hate watching Hollywood demand the later while fighting tooth-and-nail against the former.

I demand that our children and places where large groups gather be protected. Just imagine if we had terrorist blowing up themselves in football stadiums, wal-marts on Black Friday, School houses and churches. Would they scream for gun control? What if terrorists were attacking big fancy hotels, would they scream for gun control or would you be screaming for protection.
